20 years experience in health and wellbeing practice

Catherine brings 20 years’ experience in health and wellbeing practice from her work with patients, carers, communities and businesses, including Macmillan Cancer Support, Parkinson’s UK, Cancer Research UK, NI Chest Heart and Stroke, Health & Social Care Trusts, Community Development & Health Network, the Public Health Agency, Carers groups, Sports clubs and Community Organisations.



During this time Catherine led on setting up a pilot self-management programme for people living with Parkinson’s and a health and wellbeing programme for people living with cancer. She has developed training and support materials for families affected by childhood acquired brain injury. Combining information, support and a holistic therapy offer, Catherine has also set up programmes for carers of people living with long term conditions.

Catherine facilitates 1:1 and group sessions for personal development and learning opportunities to business leaders, community groups and individuals keen to know more about workplace wellbeing practices. This offer is available online and face-to-face.

She designs and delivers a range of workshops and programmes based on the latest evidence base around creating the conditions for people to thrive and fulfill their potential. Collaborating with other businesses, The Wellbeing Pathway offers a package of engagement, information and practical support that will improve health and wellbeing outcomes.

Catherine is an Associate Consultant with the Health & Social Care Leadership Centre and has mentored in Groundwork NI, Women in Business NI and the NI Council for Voluntary Action, supporting individuals and groups to build confidence, set up new businesses and develop their leadership skills. She is the curator of TEDxDownpatrick and author of The Wisdom of Wellbeing.

Catherine and The Wellbeing Pathway are members of the Association for Coaching, the Institute of Leadership & Management, the International Foundation for Integrated Care, Women into Business NI

Catherine holds an Access NI Check, is trained in Children and Adult Safeguarding and has Public Liability Insurance.
